Bio:

Jayah began taking tumbling classes at a local dance studio.  Those classes were being trained by the coach of Stasia Acrobats.  After tumbling with Aric for a while, she learned that he was also teaching an aerial hammocks class at the dance studio.  This caught her attention as, since she had watched the Greatest Showman, Jayah wanted to learn circus skills.  She would join the hammocks class and that would ignite a passion inside of her that she did not know was truly there.

That passion would fuel her to join Stasia Acrobats and begin her training as a circus acrobat.  She found that first moment in training a bit of a shock as training to become a Circus Acrobat requires a huge amount of hardwork, focus, and training to find success.  But after a moment or two of doubt, Jayah found that she had what it took to become one of the acrobats within Stasia Acrobats.  Soo after a few months of hardwork, Jayah would find herself as one of the performers of the Circus Troupe.

At 13 years of age, Jayah is the second youngest performer for Stasia Acrobats.  She is in Middle School and always excited to learn new things, whether it be in school or new skills from the circus world.  We at Stasia Acrobats, are looking forward to seeing just how good she will become.

Why I am an Acrobat:

I have many reasons for why I am an acrobat.  My want to be an acrobat began when I watched the movie, The Greatest Showman.  After seeing that movie, I would begin tumbling at a local dance studio.  This dance studio also offered and Aerial Hammocks class that really took my attention.  It was being trained by the coach for Stasia Acrobats.  As I trained with Aric and on the Hammocks, I began to see that I really wanted to join Stasia Acrobats and become a circus performer.

Since my first day as a part of Stasia Acrobats, I have felt that I found a home, a family, outside of my own family.  I love being a part of this Troupe and performing.

My Favorite Memory:

My favorite memory as a part of Stasia Acrobats is my first performance at the Roaring Youth Jam in August of 2019.  It was very memorable.  One other favorite memory is our show at the Eastern Idaho State Fair 2019.  It was such a great time and a tremendous experience.
